چکیده
The identification of lattice multiphases in TiO2 nanocrystals is studied by high resolution transmission electron microscope and diffraction patterns. Based on the spectroscopic analysis using soft x-ray absorption resonant inelastic scattering, it believed that oxygen vacancies at interface exhibit structural distortion TiO68− cluster around defect site as for multiphase lattice. We elucidate extra 3d electrons nearby induce scattering features with excitation energy dependence owing to different relaxation processes, a characteristic electron-phonon coupling or nature electron-hole pair intermediate state. manifold dd excitations driven strong interaction between Ti-3d O-2p are noticeably rich, coexisting both Ti O sites. This sophisticated experiment can advance perspective nanocomposite various interactions surface Ti3+ applications future devices.

Electronic structure of Ni complexes by X-ray resonance Raman spectroscopy (resonant inelastic X-ray scattering).
The potential of 1s2p resonant inelastic (Raman) X-ray scattering (RIXS) is demonstrated for a series of Ni coordination complexes. In this technique, incident and scattered photon energies lie in the hard X-ray range (>5 keV). The 1s2p RIXS contour plots provide information that is complementary to K-edge and L-edge spectroscopy. RIXS spectroscopy promises to be a valuable probe of electronic ...

Investigating electronic structure and excitations under extreme conditions gives access to a rich variety of phenomena. High pressure typically induces behavior such as magnetic collapse and the insulator-metal transition in 3d transition metals compounds, valence fluctuations or Kondo-like characteristics in f -electron systems, and coordination and bonding changes in molecular solids and gla...
متن کاملTemperature-Dependent 1s2p Resonant Inelastic X‐ray Scattering of CoO
The temperature-dependent 1s2p resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) spectra of CoO have been measured with 0.3 eV overall resolution, and the RIXS planes have been analyzed with multiplet calculations. The analysis of the high-resolution 1s2p RIXS plane allows a more detailed determination of the ground-state electronic structure, as compared to 1s X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). The...
متن کامل1s2p resonant inelastic X-ray scattering of iron oxides.
1s2p resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) spectroscopy has been measured for a series of iron oxides, including octahedral and tetrahedral Fe(II) and Fe(III) systems. Their spectral shapes have been analyzed and explained using crystal-field multiplet simulations. The RIXS planes and the K-edge and L-edge X-ray absorption spectra related to these RIXS planes will be discussed with respect...
